Curved point but giving more hookups such as straight point!
STX-60 features a “curved point” but unlike conventional curved hooks, it is designed to be closer to a straight hook, which is effective for increasing hook-up rates. The curved point penetrates deeply once it starts to penetrate and has the benefit of a more reliable hook hold, although it slides easily in the fish’s mouth and is difficult to penetrate at first. However, STX-60 is designed with a “wide gape” to increase hook-up rates. Additionally, STX-60 features a “short taper” . By making the tapered part shorter, this part becomes thicker and stronger. On the other hand, a thick taper is hard to penetrate, but STX-60 features a “small under barb” to enhance smooth penetration.
